Vegas-Part Two

Saturday we slept in until 8:30am and then joined the rest of the family (most of them, that is..) for a breakfast up in Bruce's suite. I had Bagel and Lox (the first time I have tried that and I LOVED it!). I cannot believe that I had never tried that before, but, I guess that salmon is not one of the main things to mix with cream cheese in Wisconsin. We prefer mixing our cheese with more cheese!

After breakfast, my sister and I went "shopping" at the Miracle Mile on the strip. It must have been a miracle because we did not buy anything (mainly because the stores were so high end that we couldn't afford any). We did see some unique clothing that we would have LOVED, but we were good. We then met the men-folk at New York, New York for some good old fashioned New York Style Pizza. It was delicious. Adam and I wandered our way back down the strip, stopped in City Center briefly and ended up taking a nap before cocktails!

Cocktails were in Bruce's room at 4pm followed by a group picture down by the pool. Marilyn Monroe greeted us for the picture. We then made our way down to Le Cirque at the Bellagio where we had the most delicious meal ever. We had an awesome table of companions as well. Bob regularly reminded our table that we had to use our "outside" voices only. Ha! My wine glass was never empty therefore I have no clue how much I drank, but it was absolutely delicious. I had an amazing piece of Salmon and Adam had a great Mignon. We roasted and toasted Aunt June in the form on Bingo games and the Wanta's "A Capella" choir with a downsized accordion to "For June, It's hard to be humble." Everyone joined in the singing. Bob got Aunt June a tiara that said, "Legally 21." Aunt June wore it the rest of her time in Vegas! Ha!

Our dinner ended around 10pm and the gambling began. Adam and I stayed out until 1:30pm when I was kicked out of "Harrah's" because I left my ID in my hotel room. As a side note, I have NEVER EVER EVER been carded in Vegas. Even when I looked a heck of a lot younger than the 30 I am. So, I didn't even think when I left my hotel room without my ID. But, the man at Harrah's was being rather "non-nice-ish" and asked me to leave! Ha! I just took my money to another casino instead....and lost it there!

Here is a video from the celebration:
