For 6 days we hosted an student from Japan. Her name is Juna and she is 14 years old. It is part of the sister-city exchange with a city in Japan. We all had a great time with her and although her English was limited, it is amazing how people learn to communicate without much language sometimes!
She loved Charlie! He was always laughing with her and giggling. Very Cute. We went mini golfing, shopping to Mayfair mall, had a bonfire, went Jet Skiing, she went to Madison with another family, bowling and much more through her organization that runs this exchange.
It was our first time hosting a student. It was a good trial for us. We would definitely recommend this program, but we will probably wait until our kids are a bit older. It is hard planning a bunch of stuff for a teenager when you have to lug around a 2 year old (and more...).
