What a weekend!

The last week or so have been very, very busy. On Thursday last week, the choir that I co-teach went on a field trip to Lakeland College where we were judged. We got great ratings of "1's" for all three songs and judges. Yeah.

My mother came in to watch Charlie (thanks Mom) on both Thursday and Friday as I made a quick little "jaunt" to San Francisco to be with my friend Ann who is going to be a bone marrow donor to her brother. I wasn't there during the actual process, but was there to keep her company and make sure that she gave herself the shots that she needed.

While out there we walked A LOT. Especially through Golden Gate Park as well as a cute little hike on a cliff over looking the ocean. We saw a whale, sea lions, and naked sunbathers (the best part!). We ate some great food and treated ourselves to manicures and pedicures.

Adam had "daddy" time with Charlie. He was going to use this time to "man" Charlie up (he is a bit of a lover boy), but I don't think he really succeeded in doing this! However, he did manage to transition Charlie to a big boy bed! I was having so much anxiety about this, but as always, it was no problem. Charlie hasn't gotten out once yet. He loves to sleep in his bed!

All flights went smoothly even though I had to RUN through the Atlanta airport (and almost missed the flight...but made it!). I was happy to be home to see the two favorite men in my life!
