Summer 2014-June

It has been a busy but fun month for us. Charlie finished Preschool, but continues to be very busy with Summer Day Camp in Fitchburg, Swim Lessons, play time (including gardening, yoga, science, etc.. at the Seventeenth Radish), and of course a few "academic" periods a week where we continue to work on name writing, counting, alphabet letters, etc...

Carrie is getting that lovely 18 month old attitude. She makes me laugh. She tries to have a tantrum, but then realizes it isn't working and continues on. She does like to hit though, so I have been known to slap her hand back a few times. That has stopped the behavior for the most part. She is a great eater, sleeper, etc...but not a great talker. I would say she has about 10 words, maybe. Dada, Mama, Shoe, Doggy, and a few more I am not remembering. Doctor is not concerned, but if by 2 she does not have 2 words together, then we will get a referral for Speech.

Adam is busy as always. I am working a little bit at the new Early Childhood Enrichment Center called the Seventeenth Radish. I teach an Early Childhood class there. The kids LOVE going there. You will see some pictures below of just SOME of the activities we have done. This place is a blessing and is going to do some amazing things. I am excited to be a part of it! Yeah!!

We went to the Verona Hometown Days Parade and Charlie scored a boat load of Candy. Most of it is getting chucked, haha! Adam went Strawberry Picking with Charlie and my Dad, Greg, and some of the Ciriacks Children. I went clothes shopping with my Sister, Carrie and my mom. My mom has this HOT new pink outfit with an awesome shirt. I will post if I can snap a picture of her!

Oh, and I got a new Iphone 5s. It is awesome, I am not gonna lie. All these pictures are right from my phone. In fact, I think my phone camera is better than my actual camera. And...at least I remember to take my phone places with me!

My children are learning and growing so fast. I am so thrilled to be a part of their lives daily and see every moment of their adventures in this world. It is so much fun to be a participant and observer. I have the GREATEST JOB in the world (that does not come with any pay...just FYI, other than hugs, kisses, and TONS of smiles and laughs. I guess that is better than money!).
