Trying to fit in

Hello all!

We are entering our 4th month in our new home. We have settled well into our new house, have made some minor changes but overall we are quite set.

Charlie is loving preschool. He seems to be learning a lot and often sings us a song learned, or at least tells us the snack he had. Ha! Today apparently he ate the orange rind And all. Nice. I guess I never taught him you are not suppose to eat the rind.

Carrie is as sweet and darling as ever. She mostly sleeps through the nights. Normally it is 2 nights where she sleeps 11-12 hrs and then 2 nights where she wakes up once around 3am. At least it is a predictable pattern. She crawls like crazy and pulls up and likes to chase anyone around the room. She eats finger foods extremely well. She is an absolute delight. Love her and I love putting cute outfits on her.

Adam is doing well. Work is super busy, so that is good.

I have joined the church band at Good Sheppherd Lutheran. I love this church and the band members are great. Really nice and supportive people.

The only thing I find frustrating so far is my inability to really establish myself in the music community. I have a few students at Rhapsody, but just feel rather out of touch with other music educators. I always felt so needed and wanted in West Bend, but I am just not feeling that here at all. I know I had my foot in a nice music door in wb through the schools, but I a struggling to find a foothole here in this area. a different market, I am sure, but just makes me doubt my ability and what I had done for 9 yrs. I am sure it will even itself out at some point again.

I bet God has a unique plan for me that I have yet to realize so I can provide to my family and share my gifts with others. Sometimes I just need to trust and trust some more. But it is hard!!!
