Doug, Sandi and Jackie came into Wisconsin for a 10 day visit in July. It was awesome to see them and have them around the state for so long! Here are a few fun pictures from a cookout that we had at our place for the Wanta family.

During the course of the week, we got to take Charlie to the Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells with Doug, Sandi and Jackie. What a blast! I think that Charlie thought he died and went to heaven! Charlie went down a bunch of waterslides, including some that were pitch black (I was with him of course) and loved them all! He went down many of the kids slides all by himself. We only made it to 3 of the 6 waterparks that they even have there. We cannot wait to go back and do it again. Thank you Doug and Sandi for letting us crash your hotel!
Another highlight was I got to go to the Memorial Union for a few beers (thanks Jackie for babysitting) for my birthday! That was a ball! Great music, perfect weather, great conversation, wonderful beer. It was amazing. Can you tell I do not get out much?
