Why I think 3 is a great age!

I love my 3 year old. I truly do! He can so many amazing things and is such a kind, sweet, loving boy, I almost have to pinch myself.

Here are a few of his awesome attributes:
1. He always waits for everyone before he starts eating dinner.
2. He uses good manners for a 3 yr old, utensils when necessary, prayers, napkins, does not complain or bicker about food.
3. He loves riding his bike and even though he has fallen off it many times, he gets right back up and does it again.
4. Rarely has melt downs, I would say about 1-2 times a month. When he is angry or upset, he says "I am gonna take a break now" and heads to his room for some quiet time. He comes down by himself when he is back under control. We hardly EVER send him to his room, he sends himself.
5. Can do 24 piece puzzles really really well and loves doing them. He concentrates well.
6. Has begun communicating to other kids his age!
7. Loves going to his alphabet soup class at the Y and telling me what letter he learned and the sound it makes. He also loves biking to his class.
8. He knows directions all around our city, this will change when we move, but can get to Mr.Maurers or Auntie Lauries or the Y or the library on his bike.
9. Is extremely good at stopping at the corners on his bike.
10. Loves playing his xylophone. For 30 mins at a time often.
11. Is very patient when I have to nurse Carrie.. often looks out the window at cars and kids!
12. Puts his shoes away, hangs up his coat and cleans up toys with minimal prodding.

He is such a kind and great boy! I absolutely adore him and adore being his mommy and seeing him grow and change and develop into this awesome child.
