Carrie participated as a Hyena in The Lion King through VACT this year. It was a fabulous show!  Charlie participated in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" through the Verona Middle Schools this year. He was Larry in the Glee Club. It was a fabulously fun show!  Both shows happened during the same week....so that was fun ;)   

Charlie is 13! We officially have a teenager. He is finishing up his 7th grade year and he is probably one of the kindest, nicest, sweetest kids out there. He is a brown belt in Karate, participates in musicals at school, MYC boys choir (Holst) and is President of his Student Council. He makes me proud in so many ways.  Happy Birthday dear Charlie. I am so proud of the young man you are becoming!   

We have been SLOWLY updating our house. This year we treated ourselves to a new Trex Deck!   

This spring break we took a road trip to Tennessee. We drove about 11 hours to slightly warmer temps (actually got to 80 for 2 days!). We hiked a bit in the Smokey Mountains, saw Pirates Voyage Show, visited Anakeesta, went to Dollywood (Carrie and Adam) and a ropes course (Nicki, Charlie and Colin). It was a nice trip. I'm not sure we will ever go to this part of TN again, it's a little kitschy, but...all things to experience in life!   

Charlie and Colin participated in their first Karate Tournament. As you can see in the pics, they had fun and did quite well! Proud of you boys!   

This kid did it! He got his Blue Belt in Karate! Way to go buddy!
